In the world of process analytics, HAMILTON is known for sensors (pH, oxygen, redox, and conductivity), and for its first-class choice of process armatures, completed with their selection of process connectors.

HAMILTON ARC revolutionizes the integration of sensors by rethinking communication between sensors, end users and process control systems. The functionality of a traditional transmitter has been replaced by a microprocessor within the sensor. ARC sensors bypass the transmitter and communicate directly to the control system. Sensors are available in all standard pH, dissolved oxygen and conductivity formats.

The 200 series dual channel opacity and dust monitoring systems are designed, tested and certified to the USEPA Performance Specification #1 (opacity) and are also compliant for use in USEPA PS-11 (quantitative dust) monitoring applications.

They can be supplied as either standard application systems or EXp certified systems for use in hazardous areas.

200 Series system outputs and control features are extremely versatile and offer many unique features not available in competitor systems. This allows the OPAL 200 to be the ideal replacement system in the event of urgent site breakdowns.

Optical Oxygen Measurement with Built-in Electronics in a 12mm Format

With Visiferm DO, Hamilton is the first company to offer a self-contained oxygen measurement in the typical 12 mm format similar to standard process pH electrodes and classical sterilizable oxygen sensors. Combined in the sensor shaft are high-temperature-resistant optical electronics, a microprocessor, a 4 - 20 mA analog output, a digital RS 485 interface with Mod Bus-protocol, and an ECS interface. The Electro-Chemical Sensor (ECS) interface allows Visiferm DO to be connected to existing classical measurement amplifiers (i.e. Yokogawa, Emerson, Knick or Mettler) designed for sterilizable oxygen sensors such as the Hamilton Oxyferm. Use the 4 - 20 mA analog output or the digital RS 485 interface integrated into the 12 mm shaft and an external measurement amplifier is unnecessary allowing measurement signals to be fed directly into a process control system.
